It was therefore hardly conceivable for the Japanese manufacturer that the biggest star of its driver lineup would miss this event.<\/p>\n<p>An agreement was therefore reached with the WEC and the FIA to change the date, which was moved forward by a week. Yet the paradox of the situation is that this date had precisely already been pushed back by a week to avoid conflicting with the finale of the American endurance championship, which takes place at the Petit Le Mans circuit in Atlanta.<\/p>\n<p>This did not fail to provoke the anger of other drivers, who had already signed their contracts based on the respective schedules, like Oliver Pla.
