After a disappointing season with Williams F1 Team at the helm of a ridiculously underperforming car, the SMP Racing prot\u00e9g\u00e9 is heading to endurance racing with the Russian team, SMP Racing.<\/p>\n
It’s a new beginning for Sergey Sirotkin, who will now occupy car no. 17 in the WEC, replacing Jenson Button, who prefers to focus on the Super GT championship.<\/p>\n
The Russian driver will take part in the endurance championship for the last three races, namely:<\/p>\n
– les 1 000km de Sebring le 17 Mars 2019 aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/p>\n
– les 6h de Spa-Francorchamps le 4 mai 2019 en Belgique.<\/p>\n
– les 24h du Mans le 16 Juin 2019 en France.<\/p>\n
Perhaps this excursion in WEC will allow Sirotkin to bounce back to the top category of motorsport later, as he expressed the wish at the twilight of his 2018 season…<\/p>\n
