Formula 1, often shortened to “F1,” is a motorsport that originated in Europe in the late 1940s. The first official F1 World Championship took place in 1950, with 22 drivers classified. However, Grand Prix races had already been held since the early 20th century. After celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2020, F1 will continue into 2025 for its 75th season, featuring a grid of 20 drivers competing for 10 teams.
