The free practice sessions of the Australian Grand Prix provided many insights. Lando Norris dominated FP1 before Charles Leclerc took over during FP2, setting the fastest time of the day. McLaren, with a strong-performing Oscar Piastri, also seems to be in a good position.

Ollie Bearman heavily damaged his Haas in the first practice session of the Australian Grand Prix. The British driver fell victim to oversteer at turn 10, ending up in the wall and forcing his team to replace the engine and gearbox. A setback that complicates his weekend.
