A week after the Australian Grand Prix, drivers and teams arrive in Shanghai for the first Sprint race of the season. As the first laps get underway, all eyes turn to the sky. Set back a few weeks this year, temperatures in the country's largest city are normally cool at the end of March. Here's the full weekend weather report.

Jack Doohan was a little optimistic on the last lap of the sprint race, spinning a driver and losing the benefit of his action himself. The FIA judged the maneuver to be too aggressive, and has sanctioned him by 10 seconds during the Grand Prix which takes place this Sunday morning, and by 2 seconds on his super license.

Lewis Hamilton was in complete control of tire degradation throughout the 19-lap sprint race at the Chinese Grand Prix. The result was his first victory for Scuderia Ferrari, while the duel with Max Verstappen was not far off.
