Slightly eventful day for the Team Lotus today in Singapore. Heikki Kovalainen had to deal with a fire on his T128 - he had already faced a fire at the end of the race last year and had improvised as a firefighter to extinguish the flames. This time it was his brakes that overheated, but that didn't stop him from achieving a good time - just like Jarno Trulli, even though he thinks he can do better.

The Marussia Virgin Racing team could have had a better start to their Singapore weekend. Timo Glock was involved in an incident during the first session - he was hit by Mark Webber, which caused a rear puncture, depriving him of precious track time.
