Red Bull Racing team finishes once again off the podium but can nonetheless take comfort from the 16 points earned this weekend in Hungary. Starting respectively in 3rd and 11th positions, Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber finish in 4th and 8th places. The Austrian constructor, however, remains in the lead of the championship before the break, with 230 points.

After a mid-grid qualifying, the race for the two Force India drivers was going to be quite difficult. Even though they hoped to score at least one point, Nico Hülkenberg and Paul di Resta fell short of the Top 10.

Poorly positioned after qualifying, the Sauber team couldn't do much better in the race, as the C31 was unable to preserve its tires like it did earlier in the season. Sergio Pérez, in 14th place, and Kamui Kobayashi, in 18th place after ending his race one lap from the finish, didn't have the tools to make a comeback.

The Mercedes team had a difficult weekend in Hungary, not on pace, yet the Silver Arrows still managed to earn a point thanks to Nico Rosberg. Michael Schumacher, on the other hand, experienced a nightmarish race with a problem at the start, followed by a penalty and then a puncture. An abandonment eventually ended his ordeal. Both Mercedes AMG drivers hope to come back stronger in a month at Spa-Francorchamps.

A relatively anonymous race for the two Toro Rosso drivers. However, Daniel Ricciardo managed to get the better of Jean-Eric Vergne, who started higher up on the grid but was entangled in tire issues during the race.

For a long time followed, first by Romain Grosjean, then by Kimi Räikkönen, but never really threatened, Lewis Hamilton wins the 19th race of his career after a very strategic race. He leads the two Lotus drivers on the podium, with the Finn ahead of the Franco-Swiss. Fernando Alonso, in 5th, strengthens his position as championship leader after Mark Webber's 8th place and Sebastian Vettel's 4th place.
