Aston Martin, start of construction of the new factory
Aston Martin has started work on its new complex dedicated to F1. This state-of-the-art factory should be operational by late 2022 - early 2023.
Lawrence Stroll, Lord Bamford (JCB president), and Otmar Szafnauer have broken ground on the new Aston Martin F1 factory.
This new campus will accommodate 800 people who must help the team to move to the next level and achieve the goals set by the new owners, namely the titles of World Champion for Drivers and Constructors.

For your information, the health crisis has delayed this gigantic project (37,000 m2) by a year. The investment ranges from 175 to 235 million euros, whereas the initial estimate was around 25 million euros…
The new headquarters of the British team will bring together three buildings, one of them will house the design office, manufacturing, and marketing service. The other will be one of the main pieces and the wind tunnel. Finally, the last building will be the historic factory which will be redeveloped into a logistics base.
