Mercedes has unveiled its new Safety Car and Medical Car
After Aston Martin, Mercedes presented two new models that will be used on the circuits in 2022.
In 2022, it will be the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series that will take on the role of Safety Car instead of the GT R that was previously used.
Regarding the medical car, the C 63 S estate’s history will be replaced after 7 years of service by the GT 63 S 4Matic+: a coupe.
These two new models will still be red in color, which appeared in 2021, thanks to the sponsorship of Crowdstrike. Find all the photos in the gallery.
As in 2021, Mercedes and Aston Martin will share track time.
As a reminder, Aston Martin will always use its Vantage as a safety car and its DBX as a medical car.
