Drive to Survive: Max Verstappen won’t change his mind
Just a few more hours to wait before discovering Season 4 of Drive to Survive on Netflix. While Max Verstappen's absence is impossible to miss, the world champion is far from changing his mind.
Last October, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen announced that he would not be taking part in the successful series Drive to Survive. He accused the series of wanting to exacerbate tensions and create conflicts where there are none.
As season 4 is about to be released, the world champion once again expressed his opinion on the matter, stating that he still refuses to be involved in this project.
« No, I will not change my mind, admits the Dutchman. « I think everything was ruined after the season. I am a very down-to-earth guy and I just want it to depict the facts without any hype. I understand that things have to be like this for Netflix, it’s like that for any series out there or documentary, or whatever you call it, it’s just not my thing. I will probably watch it to see how exaggerated everything is, and I will continue living my life. I will surely watch other documentaries on Netflix, says the world champion.
If he was present for the interviews during the early seasons, we won’t hear from him about the year 2021, particularly rich in twists and turns between the Dutchman and his rival Lewis Hamilton.
