Following his impressive comeback, Lewis Hamilton has been voted driver of the day by the fans.
After puncturing his front tire in the first lap due to a collision with Magnussen, Lewis Hamilton made a very impressive comeback up to the fifth position and was awarded the driver of the day title by Formula 1 fans.
The British driver, however, had the idea of abandoning the race to preserve his engine because he was last and far behind the rest of the pack. Just goes to show, you should never give up!
This one brings valuable points for his team Mercedes, which seems to be doing better.
