What program for the 24 Hours of Le Mans?
This year, the public will be able to return to the stands of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. And for this 90th edition, the organizers have planned a rich and enticing program.
There will be plenty to do during this week. Between technical checks, autograph sessions, trials, and challenges, the public won’t be bored at this 90th edition taking place next week. But the festivities start this Friday with administrative and technical checks (weighing) on Place de la République, in Le Mans.
On Sunday, all cars will set their wheels on the Circuit de la Sarthe for the first time in 2022. A practice session is scheduled from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm.
On Monday, there is nothing to see on the track and its surroundings, you will have to wait until Tuesday for the autograph session along with the visit to the stands, starting at 2 PM. The afternoon will conclude with the pit stop challenge, from 3:30 PM to 5 PM.
On Wednesday, the first official trials will start at 2 PM until 5 PM. The qualifying trials will take place from 7 PM to 8 PM before the second night trial session.
On Thursday, two new practice sessions will accompany the hyperpole, which determines the pole position among the six fastest cars in each category. The rest of the grid is determined based on Wednesday’s qualifications.
On Friday, no action on the track is scheduled. However, the city center of Le Mans will be lively with the drivers’ parade, starting at 5 PM.
