New parts for Sergio Perez and Lando Norris
The two drivers were seen having new elements installed on their single-seater. They will not receive a penalty.
A part of their car will be brand new. Before the third free practice session, Red Bull has decided to install a new electronic control unit. The FIA specifies that this is the first of the two new components allocated for this season.
McLaren has also made a small change to Lando Norris’ Formula 1 car. Before the third free practice session, the British driver received a new gearbox. This is the second component of its kind to be installed on the car of the man currently in seventh place in the world championship.
Being still within the rules, the two drivers will not receive any penalties on the starting grid tomorrow. Therefore, McLaren’s protege maintains his sixth position. The Mexican will start from the second row.
