Alex Albon transferred to the hospital after the first lap accident
The Williams driver has been transferred to Coventry Hospital for tests following the first corner accident.
This is one of the most spectacular accidents in recent years. At the first turn of the Grand Prix of Great Britain, a violent crash involving five cars occurred.
If the most strongly affected, it’s Guanyu Zhou, another driver has also been injured in the accident. Alexander Albon, who hit the concrete wall of the pit lane after being hit by Sebastian Vettel, seems to have been injured.
Following an incident that occurred early in the race, Alex Albon and Zhou Guanyu were taken to the medical center. Both drivers are conscious and continue to be evaluated, the F1 reports.
The Thai team then indicated that their driver was transported to Coventry Hospital by helicopter.
