French F2 Grand Prix – Lawson wins, Théo Pourchaire on the podium

Thanks to an overtaking maneuver on Daruvala in the final laps, Liam Lawson emerged victorious in the Sprint Race of the French Grand Prix.

Carlin Liam Lawson, the driver, won the first race of the French Formula 2 Grand Prix weekend. After a thrilling race, the British driver managed to overtake his rival Jehan Daruvala in the final laps.

French driver Théo Pourchaire, initially classified third and on the podium, eventually received a five-second penalty for an overtaking maneuver deemed too aggressive, and will start fifth in the second race of the weekend scheduled for Sunday morning.
