Max Verstappen elected the driver of the day in Hungary
The Dutch language has moved up from tenth to first place.
What a race and what a comeback. Starting from the tenth position due to an engine issue in qualifying, Max Verstappen had no choice but to go on the attack if he wanted to minimize the damage in the championship.
The first moments of the race were not in his favor as he lost a position. But the reigning world champion, despite being young, has experience and was well assisted by his team’s strategy.
Despite a spin that almost cost him everything, he managed to overtake both Ferraris and get rid of the fast Mercedes cars that were present this Sunday.
The rain at the end of the race did not disturb him and he managed his lead and ultimately won. He also extended his lead in the championship as his rival Charles Leclerc finished 6th.
