Max Verstappen a further cemented his place in history after Spa with his impressive comebacks

Records are meant to be broken… and in some cases, they are created. Since the beginning of his Formula 1 career, Max Verstappen has continuously added his name to the record book of the discipline.

But, in Spa, the Dutchman decided to take it to the next level and add another line to their existing records. Indeed, although before the race victory seemed difficult to obtain due to starting from a distant 14th position, he still managed to lift the winner’s trophy.

A few weeks ago, in Hungary, the reigning world champion managed to win after starting from the fifth row, following an issue in qualifying.

Two successes then by starting from the middle, or even the back of the pack. In the history of Formula 1, no driver had managed to achieve such a feat. In Belgium, Max Verstappen also achieved victory starting from 14th place, a first from such a distance since his previous achievement in Hungary.
