Ferrari wants to dominate the end of the season

They had started the championship perfectly before collapsing. After Charles Leclerc’s two victories in Bahrain and Australia, the Scuderia was hit by reliability issues and made numerous mistakes in the pit stops.

The rival of the Italian team, Red Bull, took advantage of this and went on a winning streak, soaring to the top of the leaderboard. The team managed by Christian Horner has won four consecutive victories and appears to be displaying a superior pace compared to Ferrari.

Objective victories

My main concern is that it’s been three consecutive races where we don’t have the pace on Sundays. It’s quite similar to Hungary. This weekend, we had a good qualifying session – a session where we were competitive. But in the race, we are not competitive enough, which certainly makes life much more difficult – not only because we can’t fight for victory with Max, but also because we don’t have the pace to keep the Mercedes behind, Mattia Binotto said after the Dutch GP.

Now far behind in the championship, Charles Leclerc has seen his chances of being crowned greatly diminished. However, his boss remains confident and wants to finish the championship in style.

« I believe that it has been three consecutive races where we have not been at our full potential. This is something we need to address as soon as possible, as there are only a few races left until the end of the season. We are still in pursuit of victories, and our intention is to win all the races, including Monza.

If Ferrari starts accumulating victories, both championships could be completely relaunched. But, the real battle is taking place on the track.
