Vettel pays tribute to his longtime helmet supplier
As usual, the four-time world champion will sport a helmet showcasing the logo of his helmet manufacturer, Arai.
Sebastian Vettel regularly sports helmets to convey messages or pay tribute.
This weekend, he will pay tribute to the Japanese helmet manufacturer Arai. Just a reminder, the four-time German world champion has been using head protection from the Japanese company since 1995, when he started karting.
To come back to the 2022 edition of the Japanese Grand Prix, Vettel has chosen a rather original design. Indeed, the helmet takes on the design of the cardboard boxes that Arai uses for packaging its products. However, the German flag that runs along the helmet is still there to simulate the adhesive sealing the boxes.
An original tribute, but it allows Vettel to thank Arai for supporting him throughout his career.
Arigatō, Arai 🇯🇵
