Certainly, this year, RM Sotheby’s is selling many collector’s items. After offering several Eddie Irvine and Michael Schumacher single-seaters, the company specializing in vintage cars is presenting another Ferrari from the Red Baron.
On November 9th, RM Sotheby’s will auction a Ferrari F2003 GA. This is chassis 229, which was driven five times during the 2003 season. This model was presented at the Spanish Grand Prix and named GA as a tribute to FIAT’s president, Gianni Agnelli, who passed away in January of the same year.
This power monster is powered by a 3-liter V10 engine producing 845 horsepower. With this chassis, the German driver won five times in 2003, which helped him in his quest for a sixth world title. The 229 is the most successful chassis out of all created this year.
According to the specialized company, the sale could reach between 7.5 and 9 million euros.
