The German contested his last Formula 1 race in Abu Dhabi. The fans rewarded him with the title of Driver of the Day.
He wasn’t the most prominent driver, but he still earns the title of driver of the day. The German, in his final F1 race, had an impressive start, but the end of the Grand Prix was more complicated.
The four-time world champion lost several positions after the halfway point, mainly towards the end of the race. The strategy implemented by his team was not the right one. His teammate’s strategy, on the other hand, was successful. Lance Stroll finished eighth, while Vettel finished tenth.
Despite this disappointment, fans have named Sebastian Vettel as the driver of the day to thank him for his career and his 299 starts in the sport.
