The advisor of Red Bull claims that their announcement has been slightly modified. « I said ‘if’ we take him as the third driver. The ‘if’ has been lost. We are discussing with him, but nothing has been signed yet », he stated to Motorsport magazine.
Not retained by McLaren due to the arrival of Oscar Piastri within the Woking team, Daniel Ricciardo finds himself without a contract for 2023. He is reportedly in discussions with several teams to secure a position for the next season. According to various rumors, he is in contact with Mercedes and Red Bull.
