Horner: “The 2023 season will be more competitive than this year&”;

After a difficult period, Red Bull Racing is once again at the top of the discipline. The Austrian team has won the driver titles in the last two seasons and once again won the constructor title in 2022. The RB18 has dominated almost every race this season, winning 16 out of the 22 Grand Prix that took place.

A magical season

Red Bull has gained the upper hand over the other teams in the first season of the new regulations. Ferrari has failed to keep up with the Austrian cars and Mercedes is returning to the forefront after a difficult period. Christian Horner doesn’t believe his team will experience such a victorious period next season. The fight for the title is expected to be closer in 2023, according to the Austrian team’s director.

It will be intense, and I’m sure it will be very close. I don’t think we won’t be sitting here next year with 14 wins for one driver and 16 wins overall, with about twenty races behind us.

A privilege to succeed alongside Max Verstappen.

Max Verstappen dominated this 2022 season by winning 15 times. He had his best season in the sport this year. Christian Horner feels privileged to contribute to the success of the Dutch driver.

« This year is definitely up to par. The way Max has dominated, completely dominated, the drivers’ championship is a privilege to be a part of and witness. »
