Zandvoort on the calendar until 2025
On the morning of Thursday December 8, F1 announced the extension of its contract with the Dutch Grand Prix. It will run until 2025.
The Formula 1 returned to this seaside track last year. It will do so for three more seasons. This Grand Prix, which gained a reputation in the 70s and 80s, has once again become an unmissable event with the enthusiasm of the Dutch for Max Verstappen.
The last two editions took place with packed stands. The excitement is expected to increase even more with Nyck de Vries’ debut as a full-time driver. These are the reasons that led Formula 1 to renew the contract with the Dutch Grand Prix.
“The Dutch Grand Prix quickly established itself on the calendar as one of the fans’ favorites, bringing incredible energy and a fantastic experience for the fans every year,” said F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali.
The sold-out events of the last two years have raised the bar in terms of organization, entertainment and sustainability, and we are excited to extend our relationship with them. There is a huge demand for hosting F1 races, which is a testament to what the team has done to secure Zandvoort on the calendar until 2025, and we are looking forward to returning next summer.
In 2023, the race is scheduled from August 25th to 27th.
