Aston Martin has indeed recently lost a multiple Formula 1 world champion, but in exchange for another one! Sebastian Vettel has given up his seat to Fernando Alonso for the 2023 season, and the team is determined to win alongside him: "He will push us in every aspect."
Determined, the Formula 1 team based in Silverstone knows that Fernando Alonso’s ambition and competitiveness can only be an asset for them. Although the Spanish driver announced at the beginning of the 2022 season that he was leaving Alpine to join Aston Martin, this new start proves to be a challenge for him in his quest for the world championship title.

Interviewed by Formula1.com, the performance director stated that he is still learning about his driver. “I can tell you one thing: he is a very motivated and competitive individual – you can see it from the outside. I’m starting to see it a little more when I talk to him,” he continued.
He is solely focused on doing well. He sees a bright future with our team. He sees the journey we are embarking on. We are really happy to have him in our team. He will push us in all areas of the team, he concluded.
