Jacky Ickx will be present at the Charade circuit on May 21st

It will be a spectacle in the paddock, but also on the track. On May 21st, the Charade circuit is organizing its second edition of the Charade Super Show. For this event, the organizers have gone all out. In order to pay tribute to the drivers who will be present (Jacky Ickx, Sebastien Loeb, and Giacomo Agostini), the entire Charade circuit will be used. Thus, the old part of the track, now transformed into a county road, will once again see powerful cars racing.

Motorcycle and vintage car parades will punctuate the day. They will use the old circuit in the morning and the new one in the afternoon. Collectors can sign up to participate in this parade by registering here.

The Champions Race will also be on the schedule for this Sunday. Several renowned drivers will compete on a very short circuit so that the audience can witness these duels from any stand. Last year, Romain Dumas emerged victorious.

Demonstrations of drift, stunts, and baptisms will also be on the schedule.

Regulars of Charade

Jacky Ickx will rediscover the Charade circuit during the Charade Super Show, which he is familiar with as he raced there in three Formula 1 Grand Prix: in 1969 where he finished 3rd, in 1970, and in 1972.

Giacomo Agostini has made history in the world of motorcycling, but also at the Charade circuit. As the most decorated champion in motorcycle racing history (with 15 world titles won in the 350cc and 500cc categories), he will return to the Charade circuit during the Charade Super Show, where he emerged victorious during the French Grand Prix in 1972 and 1974 riding an MV Agusta. He also attended the circuit’s 60th anniversary celebration in 2018.
