Many drivers benefit from a new engine in Baku
In Baku, almost all teams have brought new engine components for their drivers.
Brand new. All new. Most of the drivers on the starting grid will benefit from new components in Azerbaijan. In terms of engines, Mercedes, Aston Martin, Williams, Oscar Piastri, and Yuki Tsunoda have used a second power unit out of the four allowed this season during FP1.
These same men, along with the Haas and Ferrari drivers, have a new turbo. This same group, except for Charles Leclerc, is equipped with a new MGU-H.
The Mercedes, Aston Martin, Williams drivers, Oscar Piastri, Nico Hülkenberg, and Yuki Tsunoda have been equipped with a new MGU-K.
All these drivers will not be penalized since they comply with the regulations.
