Let’s go to identify all the trophies present in the photo published by Romain Grosjean.
Belgium 2015: 9th place after a gearbox change, he makes a remarkable comeback to reach the 3rd step of the podium, a remarkable performance. It is currently Grosjean’s and Lotus’ last podium in F1.
United States 2013: The French driver finishes third after a very good qualifying session. At the start, Vettel maintains the first place while Grosjean makes a very good start and overtakes Webber from the inside. Hamilton also passes the Australian. HĂŒlkenberg, PĂ©rez, and Alonso follow. On that day, the French driver finishes only 6 seconds behind the winner Sebastian Vettel, securing the second place ahead of Webber by 2 seconds.
India 2013: after a failed qualifying session, Romain Grosjean is only 16th on the grid, far behind his teammate Kimi RÀikkönen in 6th place. With a daring strategy, he manages to catch up with his teammate, and it is the team that asks the Finn to step aside, allowing Romain to finish 3rd.
South Korea 2013: after a rather calm start from 3rd position, Romain Grosjean attacks world champion Lewis Hamilton from the first lap. Holding 2nd place for almost the entire race, he never poses a threat to leader Sebastian Vettel. He even gets overtaken by Kimi RÀikkönen for 2nd place on the 38th lap of the race.
Bahrain 2013: in a race marked by Nico Rosberg’s pole position but also by Fernando Alonso’s DRS issues, Romain Grosjean starts in 11th position. During the race, the French driver makes a good comeback, and with 5 laps to go, he overtakes Paul Di Resta to secure his first podium of the year 2013.
Hungary 2012: Starting in 2nd position, Grosjean maintains his second place in the race. He even does better and takes the lead of the Grand Prix for 2 laps ahead of Lewis Hamilton who started in pole position. Holding onto 2nd place until the 39th lap, he is then demoted to 3rd position and remains there until the end of the race, behind the winner Hamilton and second-placed Kimi.
-Canada 2012: starting from 7th position, he was overtaken at the start by Paul Di Resta, placing him in 8th position. He will again have a superb race by quickly placing himself in 1st position for a lap thanks to pit stops. After his tire change, he comes out in 8th position and pushes himself to secure 2nd place behind Lewis Hamilton.
Bahrain 2012: Starting from 7th position, Romain Grosjean probably didn’t expect to achieve his first Formula 1 podium. Grosjean had a great start, moving up from 7th to 4th place. The order ahead of him remained the same, with Vettel leading Hamilton and Webber. Alonso also had a good start and was in 5th place. Throughout the race, Grosjean fluctuated between 2nd and 3rd place, even briefly taking the lead of the Grand Prix for the first time in his career, but only for one lap. The Frenchman finished 3rd and secured his first Formula 1 podium.
However, in the photo, there are two trophies missing that were acquired in 2013, namely the ones from Germany and Japan.
