Stefano Domenicali is going to receive the key to the city of Imola
The CEO of Formula 1 should receive this distinction from the mayor of Imola. The ceremony is scheduled for this Thursday, May 18th.
It is a ceremony that will take place as part of the circuit’s 70th anniversary celebrations. Indeed, the Italian track was inaugurated in April 1953 and welcomed Formula 1, ten years later.
To honor the work of the CEO of the discipline and the close ties between Imola and Formula 1, the mayor of the municipality, Marco Panieri, will present the keys to the city to Stefano Domenicali. The public will be able to attend this event.
The ceremony is expected to take place this Thursday, May 18th, at the town hall. As of now, the event is still scheduled, despite the heavy precipitation and flooding that have been affecting the region of Emilia-Romagna, particularly Imola, for several days.
