A ticket for 2024 or a refund offered to spectators of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix 2023
For the past 24 hours, the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix has officially been cancelled, and spectators can choose what they want to do with their tickets.
The Imola circuit has announced that fans will be able to request a refund or convert their tickets into tickets for the 2024 race, as the chances of the race returning in 2023 are very low due to the busy schedule.
As a reminder, the city of Imola was hit by heavy flooding and abundant rainfall during the week, which deteriorated conditions at the Imola circuit and led to the closure of roads on Wednesday. After consultations between F1, circuit promoters, and local authorities, the decision was made to cancel the Grand Prix in order to not put additional pressure on the already overwhelmed local authorities.
All buyers who purchased tickets through sales networks and the ticketone purchasing platform should know that they have the option to convert their purchased tickets into tickets for the 2024 event or to receive a refund.
Given the ongoing emergency situation in the area, the details and schedule for the refund will be announced in a later communication that will be sent via email in the coming days by ACI Sport, a company of the Automobile Club of Italy, through the official ticketing provider Ticketone, stated the Imola circuit.
