Alpine will sponsor two teams for the GP Explorer 2023, in addition to the presence of Ocon and Gasly

The success of the first edition has made the anticipation for GP Explorer 2 even greater. Yesterday, during Squeezie’s live Twitch stream, the 60,000 tickets were sold in 30 minutes. He also took advantage of this live stream to present the program of the Grand Prix, the liveries of 10 out of the 11 teams, as well as the sponsors.

Alpine continues to sponsor the team consisting of Depielo and Manon Lanza. However, a small detail has changed compared to last year. Alpine is now also sponsoring another team, that of Theodort and Djilsi. Additionally, both Alpine drivers will be acting as team directors during the weekend. Pierre Gasly will be in charge of Djilsi and Theodort’s team, while Esteban Ocon will lead Manon Lanza and Depielo’s team. Alpine also supports the radio team Le Mouv’, which is made up of AnaOnAir and Maxime Biaggi, as a manufacturer partner.

After an incredible first edition, we are thrilled to contribute once again to the GP Explorer. This unique race brings together young communities from different backgrounds to introduce them to motor racing, a field in which Alpine has been fully invested since its creation. We are looking forward to following the progress of these three teams, from their preparation to the race, stated Alpine CEO Laurent Rossi.

Last year, the GP Explorer took place during a Formula 1 weekend, making it impossible for the drivers to come to the track. This year, there are no Grand Prix races scheduled, which promises some rather interesting track events.
