The Red Bull drivers are changing engine components
The Spanish Grand Prix is often synonymous with changes in mechanical components. Red Bull continues this "tradition" by installing new parts on the cars of both its drivers.
They will have new equipment. Before the first free practice session of the Spanish Grand Prix, Red Bull made several changes to both cars. As a result, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez have a new engine, turbo, MGU-K, MGU-H. Lando Norris (McLaren) also has these same new components.
Other drivers are on the list provided by the FIA. Fernando Alonso and Logan Sargeant have new batteries and an electronic control unit. Nico Hülkenberg also has a new electronic control unit.
Finally, the McLaren and Alfa Romeo drivers have received a new gearbox. All these changes conform to the regulations, so they will not be penalized.
