Legends on Track: A Journey Through Time

The weekend’s program promises to be breathtaking. Headlining, Jacques Villeneuve will take the wheel of his father Gilles Villeneuve’s legendary Ferrari 312 T5 in a moment of rare emotion. The scene will unfold during the Fast & Famous demonstrations, organized on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Another monument of French F1, Alain Prost will reunite with the McLaren MP4/2 with which he made his mark in 1984. Jean Alesi will drive both a Ferrari and an F3000 Jordan, paying tribute to Eddie Jordan, his former team boss. René Arnoux, always loyal to Ferrari and Renault, will also be present, just like Mark Webber, who will return to action in a 2005 Jaguar R5.

The public will also be able to salute Franck Montagny, who will celebrate Renault’s 20th world title anniversary in 2005 at the wheel of the R25 V10. Finally, Adrien Tambay, Victor Jabouille, and Nicolas Prost will honor the memory of their respective fathers, prominent figures in Formula 1.

Charles Leclerc, surprise guest

The current Ferrari driver, Charles Leclerc, will make a special appearance on Saturday. Expected by a crowd of fans, he will come to meet the public and share his admiration for legendary cars, personally invited by the Paul Ricard circuit’s boss, Jean Alesi. A rare opportunity to see a modern F1 star mingling with the history of his sport.

Ferrari, Renault and the F1 Icons in the Spotlight

The Ferrari Space will offer an exceptional retrospective, featuring iconic models such as the 312 T5, the F2008, and the A1/72. Renault will not be left out with its dedicated space: the Renault F1 Epic will trace the 40 years of the diamond’s success in F1, from 1978 to 2006, with single-seaters like the RE40, the RE30B, and the Benetton-Renault.

With over 300 classic cars, around forty F1 cars on display, living legends on the track, and a program for the general public, the 2025 Grand Prix de France Historique promises to be one of the most beautiful automotive events of the year. A true mechanical festival, filled with passion, nostalgia, and adrenaline.
