In Austria, Théo Pourchaire was supposed to catch up with Vesti in the championship. That was not the case. The Frenchman only scored 6 points over the weekend. That’s less than Vesti, Iwasa, Bearman, Verschoor, Fittipaldi, and Doohan.

A new challenging weekend for Pourchaire in an ART that lacked speed in the race. At Silverstone, he must not falter and make up for his deficit against championship leader Frederik Vesti. Otherwise, the title could slip even further away from him.

Behind, the battle is raging. Ayumu Iwasa, Oliver Bearman, and Richard Verschoor are climbing back up the leaderboard and have not said their last word. Second of the four F2 weekends in July, Silverstone could prove decisive on many fronts.
