Aston Martin has partnered with the Aleto Foundation to bring young people into the world of Formula 1
This partnership between these two entities will allow 15 young students from ethnic minorities to get closer to their dream of working in motorsports.
Aston Martin is adding itself to the list of teams working for minorities. This Thursday, July 6th, the British team announced the signing of a partnership with the Aleto Foundation. This leading charitable organization is dedicated to promoting social mobility among young people from underrepresented communities.
With Aston Martin, the two entities will allow young people aged 17 and over, interested in science and motorsport, to get closer to a career in this field.
A professional experience in 2024
« The selected individuals will have access to a range of educational programs designed to develop their skills, knowledge, and networks within the automotive sports industry », Aston Martin explains in a statement.
The nine-month educational program includes a leadership day at the team’s technology campus. This will include a public speaking workshop, a conversation with senior executives, and a visit to the new Aston Martin Racing technology campus.
In February 2024, these 15 selected young people should have their first professional experience within the stable. Through the nine-month program, supervised by the Aleto Foundation, students will be paired with professionals, allowing them to benefit from invaluable advice, industry information, and real-world experience.
