Mercedes signs a contract with Adidas
The two famous German brands have signed a multi-year contract to supply equipment to outfit all members of the German team.
Adidas is committing to Formula 1 for the first time by becoming the official supplier for the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 team starting in the 2025 season. This multi-year partnership involves designing a complete range of gear, including clothing, footwear, and accessories, for the entire team, from drivers to engineers. A collection with limited editions for team fans will also be launched.
For Adidas, this new commitment in Formula 1 will allow them to target new customers through a discipline that has a great influence on sport and street culture, according to its CEO Bjørn Gulden.
“Our partnership with Adidas is a true statement of intent as we open a new chapter for our team,” emphasizes Mercedes director Toto Wolff. “Adidas is an iconic brand that shares our commitment to performance but with style and sophistication. This announcement is of a groundbreaking collaboration that will redefine the apparel of a team and its fans in F1.”
As a reminder, in 2025, Mercedes will still have George Russell who will be supported by the rookie Kimi Antonelli.
