A Dutch journalist claims that Nyck de Vries has lost his seat at AlphaTauri
According to a journalist close to the De Vries family and respected by Dutch media, Nyck de Vries would have lost his seat at AlphaTauri with immediate effect.
For several Grand Prix, the threat has been hanging over Nyck de Vries’ head. Threatened with losing his seat by Helmut Marko, the Dutch driver allegedly failed to satisfy the Austrian and has today lost his seat at AlphaTauri, with immediate effect. The poor results have piled up for the Dutch driver and the confidence of his leaders has dwindled.
According to Allard Kalff, a respected journalist from the Dutch media, Nyck de Vries did indeed lose his seat at AlphaTauri. Falling short of expected performance, Helmut Marko did not hesitate to replace the Dutch driver.
