36 min: Pierre Gasly sets off again and improves his time by 7 tenths. He is currently 7th behind Max Verstappen.

40 min: Magnussen sets the best time! He completes a very strong lap, he is very fast on the straight line. Lando Norris cannot beat his time.

44 min: Haas and Sauber on the track! It’s finally getting busy in this session.

46 min: It’s still calm on the track. Lance Stroll sets off on soft tires and sets the fastest time by ‘a tenth. Fernando Alonso slots in between the 2 Alpines.

50 min: Both Alpine cars are on soft tires. Jack Doohan sets the fastest time in 1:25.633, putting 4 tenths on Pierre Gasly. It is the first benchmark time of the session.

51 min: Pierre Gasly is on track. The French driver was not satisfied with his car during the two sessions yesterday. We will see if Alpine has made adjustments for this afternoon’s qualifying session.

54 min: After being criticized on the radio yesterday, Fernando Alonso, always very clever, expresses his joy on the radio today: “It’s going to be a good day.”

57 min: Only Aston Martins are on the track. They stop at the pits to put on medium tires.
