New engine components for drivers in Hungary
Alpine, Haas, and Red Bull have changed several parts on their drivers' cars. No penalties will be given.
There is some news for this first testing session in Hungary. Red Bull has decided to change the gearbox of Sergio Perez, who is now on his fourth unit of this type this season, out of the four allowed. Kevin Magnussen also received a new gearbox. His fourth as well.
On the engine side, Alpine made the most changes. And this, on Esteban Ocon’s car. The Frenchman now has a third engine and a third turbocharger. His MGU-H and MGU-K have also been replaced, along with his exhaust system.
Kevin Magnussen also received a new MGU-K. Lewis Hamilton and Yuki Tsunoda have been equipped with new exhausts. All these drivers are still within the regulations and will not be penalized.
