In Hungary, it was Jack Doohan who created a general surprise by taking pole position and winning the main race, moving up to 5th place in the championship. But at the top, Fred Vesti gained some points on Théo Pourchaire, increasing his lead to 11 points. Ayumu Iwasa is lurking just behind.

Then, a little further, there are the rookies Victor Martins and Ollie Bearman who seem ready to attack during the final events in order to try to clinch the title. This will not be an easy task since Vesti, Pourchaire, and Iwasa are experienced and will minimize their mistakes. However, they will have to be careful, especially with Victor Martins, who has achieved two consecutive podium finishes in the main race.
