Mike Conway (Toyota) forced to withdraw from the 24 Hours of Le Mans

A sad fall. Mike Conway was injured when he fell off his bike on Thursday, June 6, during a training session. The impact was evidently violent as the British driver fractured several ribs and his collarbone. However, Toyota, the team for which he races, has specified that his injuries are not serious.

The Briton will therefore not be able to participate in the Le Mans classic next weekend. While this day was dedicated to weighing, the team had to find a replacement for him. José Maria Lopez, winner of the 24 Hours with Toyota, will replace him.

The Argentine driver was supposed to participate in the same race in LMGT3, within the French team Akkodis (Lexus). He was finally released from his obligations to drive in the Hypercar.
