Lance Stroll fined €100 at Imola
The Canadian was caught speeding during the third free practice session at Imola.
It’s not going to ruin him. Lance Stroll was caught by the patrol at the very beginning of the third free practice session. Behind the wheel of his Aston Martin, the Canadian drove too fast in the pit lane.
Limited to 80 km/h, crossing the pit lane cannot be done any faster. But Fernando Alonso’s teammate drove 0.1 km/h faster than allowed.
This slight speeding was sanctioned by the race commissioners present at Imola. Lance Stroll will have to pay a fine of 100 €.
The driver managed to achieve the ninth time in this last free practice session. About two hours before the qualifications, the pace displayed by the Canadian seems interesting.
