Ferdinand Habsburg absent from Spa again

The recovery is continuing. Since his accident during private tests, Ferdinand Habsburg has been away from the circuits. Injured in the vertebrae, the Austrian is trying to heal and recover at home.

His injury prevented him from participating in the 6 Hours of Imola in WEC and in a round of the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) with Cool Racing. This injury will also keep him from being present at Spa this Saturday, May 11. His recovery is progressing positively, according to Alpine. The driver will once again be replaced by Jules Gounon.

The Tricolore had been called to Imola in the Alpine in number 35, where he finished in 13th place. Double winner of the 24 Hours of Spa, the Frenchman will continue his apprenticeship in the prototype on a track that he particularly likes, with Charles Milesi and Paul-Loup Chatin by his side, Alpine said.

According to Philippe Sinault, the team manager, the winner of the 2021 24 Hours of Le Mans in the LMP2 category should make his return in the coming days.
