Ferrari presents a slightly modified version of the 499P
The Italian manufacturer has paid tribute to the brand's founder, Enzo Ferrari, by presenting the 2024 version of the 499P.
With a few details aside, the Ferrari 499P entered in the World Endurance Championship remains unchanged. The Scuderia unveiled, this Sunday, February 18th, the new livery of its Hypercar. This date was not chosen at random as Enzo Ferrari was born on February 18th, 1898.
This one remains mainly red with touches of yellow here and there. However, this latter color will be slightly more prominent than on the 2023 model. Ferrari will keep the same numbers as the previous season: 50 and 51.
These colors pay homage to those of the Ferrari 312 PB, the last prototype to compete in the World Championship in 1972, before a half-century hiatus that was interrupted last year when the Prancing Horse made its return to the top category of endurance racing, Ferrari specifies.
The line-ups also remain unchanged. The first car will be driven by Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina, and Nicklas Nielsen. Number 51 will stay in the hands of Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi.
