McLaren testing in Barcelona
The British team was at the Barcelona circuit on Saturday, February 10th. And this was to continue developing their 2024 race car.
The work and steps continue. And they are accumulating kilometers. Just a few days after starting the Mercedes engine of the single-seater, McLaren engineers brought their machine to Barcelona for a testing session.
The British team is already preparing for its 2024 season, even though the winter trials haven’t started yet. To recall, these are scheduled from February 21st to 23rd in Bahrain.
This is not McLaren’s first testing session at the beginning of the year. Andrea Stella’s team had a session a few days ago at the Circuit du Castellet. It was the day when the drivers’ combination was revealed, as well as the livery of Bianca Bustamante’s single-seater, who will be racing in the F1 Academy this season.
The next step for McLaren is the official presentation of the race car, named MCL38, this Wednesday, February 14th.
