Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris visit the MotoGP
This first summer break weekend for F1 has been an opportunity for the Australian driver to attend the MotoGP Grand Prix at the Silverstone circuit. Lando Norris, his teammate at McLaren, did the same and took the opportunity to meet Fabio Quartararo.
The Silverstone circuit was the venue for the restart of the MotoGP World Championship this first weekend of August. For the occasion, the Australian driver from McLaren paid a visit to his counterparts in the premier category on 2 wheels, accompanied by his colleague, Lando Norris.
During this event, thanks to a common sponsor, he was able to meet French rider Johann Zarco, who rides for the Pramac-Ducati team. By the way, the F1 symbol is present on the Italian machine of the satellite team since 2021. The boss of this team, Paolo Campinoti, is a friend of Stefano Domenicali, F1 director, explaining the closer relationship between MotoGP and F1 in recent years.

After this weekend, will Oscar Piastri want to take the handlebars of one of his machines, like Lewis Hamilton did a few years ago? Only time will tell.
Lando Norris had already come to watch the World Speed Championship and had the opportunity in 2019 to meet his childhood idol, namely the legendary number 46, Valentino Rossi.
For this 2023 edition, Lando Norris walked through the paddock and was able to attend the race with the Yamaha team. On this occasion, he was able to exchange with the two drivers from the Nippon team, Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Quartararo.
The French world champion was able to have a lengthy conversation with the British McLaren driver. This conversation between the two drivers ended with the symbolic exchange of helmets. Quartararo thus completes his collection of F1 driver helmets after those of Lewis Hamilton, Daniel Ricciardo, and Charles Leclerc.
Lando Norris has also expressed his support for Moto 3 rider Iván Ortolá.
