Marcus Ericsson will be driving for Andretti in the IndyCar championship
Andretti Racing team has announced the arrival of former F1 driver, Marcus Ericsson. He is leaving Chip Ganassi Racing.
The IndyCar adventure continues for Marcus Ericsson. The Swede is back for his sixth consecutive season in this category. But this time, with a new team. After three years with the colors of Chip Ganassi Racing, the former Sauber driver joins the ranks of Andretti.
« I am very happy and proud to join Andretti Autosport next season. Andretti is one of the most legendary names in motorsports, so it is a dream come true for me to join this team », he announced.
He will therefore be alongside Colton Herta and Kyle Kirkwood next season. Romain Grosjean is also part of this American team but still does not have a contract for 2024. His future could therefore be in endurance, as he is under contract with Lamborghini in IMSA.
