For the second race of the Australian weekend, it was under heavy rain that South African Adrian Zaugg emerged victorious. He secured the country’s first victory of the season, freed from the strong contenders of the weekend right from the start after several incidents.

Race 2

Adrian Zaugg wins the endurance race after taking the lead at the first pit stop thanks to a longer stint than his competitors.

Aided by the rain and circumstances, the South African, starting 6th, took advantage of the misfortunes of France and New Zealand to come out on top. He finished ahead of Switzerland, who was leading after the first lap, and Great Britain.

As in race 1, Canada, Australia, Brazil, and Germany are in the top 10.

France, on the other hand, fell victim to several problems. The first stalled at the start due to a clutch defect, which proved fatal a few laps later. In the meantime, Duval also collided with the USA, causing Summerton to retire.

Duval therefore scores no points for this weekend, which had nevertheless started well.
