The Red Bull team is currently in Jerez, Spain for three days of testing accompanied by Williams. Only the two teams have benefited from good conditions to cover long distances on this first day.
It’s Red Bull who comes out on top in this first duel with Coulthard and Webber in the lead, ahead of Nakajima and Rosberg.
With 112 laps, Mark Webber was the most active today, outpaced by his teammate Coulthard by approximately 0.2 seconds.
Williams was running their car with the livery of their 30th anniversary, Black and Grey. Rosberg was the least active with only less than 70 laps, but he will be able to make up for it tomorrow.
With only two teams today, the track was quite clear. This won’t be the case tomorrow, as the Spanish circuit is set to host the entire lineup except for Ferrari and Toyota, who are on track today in Bahrain.
