The A1 Grand Prix Great Britain team announced today the return of driver Oliver Jarvis for the upcoming race weekend in Durban, South Africa.

The Briton will take over from Robbie Kerr. The latter drove for the team during the last two events, in New Zealand and Australia, taking the opportunity to achieve a podium finish at the Eastern Creek circuit (Sydney).

Jarvis has shown eagerness to race again for the team in the narrow streets of Durban, where he finished in the top 5 last year.

« I am delighted to be back with the A1 Team GB and I am particularly looking forward to being in Durban, » said Jarvis, driver during the first four races with the team.

« It’s a fantastic urban circuit in a magnificent setting. »

« Furthermore, I really hope to be able to continue the path taken by Kerr in Australia and make it to the podium. This would allow Great Britain to compete at the top of the championship. »

The British team is currently sixth in the standings, 38 points behind the joint leaders France and New Zealand, with three events remaining in the season.
